Courageous Inc., a nonprofit organization, established this indoor training facility to offer athletes a place to develop and fortify skills in order to perform at their highest level of sport. Courageous Sports Academy offers a training area and equipment as well as batting cages for athletes to improve their personal performance. The facility has a three lane 40m track, weight room, 2 batting cages, and over 3000 square feet of turf area.

 

Once the change of season occurs and weather hinders outdoor activity, athletes need a place to further their training. The leadership team of Courageous Inc. noticed that options for high quality athletic were limited in the city of Detroit and that athletes were diminished to lesser facility use during winter months.
